Make Your Challenge Gift Today!

The annual Lehigh-Lafayette Giving Challenge is one of the biggest campus giving events that takes place at Lehigh. This year, the Challenge will last for five days during Spirit Week – from November 16 to 21 – leading up to the 151st Lehigh-Lafayette rivalry game held at Goodman Stadium. You can make your gift starting now and up to half time on game day for it to count toward the Challenge.

For the past two years, Lafayette has won the Challenge, and we need to prevent this from becoming a streak. Every gift benefits the Lehigh Fund, which supports Lehigh’s mission through scholarships, financial aid, designations, alumni programming, events, and more.

There are two ways to donate to the Challenge starting now:

·       Make a gift online at mylehigh.lehigh.edu/makeagift

·       Call 866-517-1552

On game day, November 21, you can also text a gift to earn Lehigh a second Challenge point!

·       On Saturday, November 21, a texting element will be added to the Challenge, allowing participants to text ‘LEHIGH’ and their name to 20222 to donate $10 through halftime. Saturday will be the only day that text gifts will be accepted.

Every gift counts, because the Challenge points are based on the number of participating donors, not the amount of the gift. Each donor has the opportunity to generate two points toward the Challenge – one from an online or offline donation throughout the week, and the other from a text gift that can be sent on game day up until half time. Gifts from any source count – undergraduate alumni, graduate alumni, students, parents, and friends can all contribute to the Challenge. Plus, online or cash/check gifts may be directed toward any designation.

This year’s Lehigh-Lafayette Challenge will be more competitive than ever as the student populations from both Lehigh University and Lafayette College will compete head-to-head to bring their school to victory by generating the highest amount of donations.

The results of the Lehigh-Lafayette Challenge will be announced during halftime on game day, with a trophy presentation to the winning school. To learn more about the Challenge and watch the daily tally of donations during Spirit Week, please visit: www.llchallenge.com.
