George P. Maginness earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Lehigh University in 1940. While a student, he was an active athlete, and a member of the baseball, basketball, and lacrosse teams. Maginness had a long and successful career in the pharmaceutical industry, and retired as executive vice president from Bristol-Myers Squibb.
Maginness and his wife, Elizabeth, have two sons. George passed away on December 2, 2009.
