Debbie and Jeff Bosland ’88 ’22P have made the education and advancement of young people a hallmark of their philanthropy. They have loyally supported scholarships and financial aid, athletics, and the College of Business at Lehigh. With a generous gift from Jeff and Debbie, Lehigh’s new business building will house the Bosland Financial Services Lab. The Jeffrey and Debra Bosland Family Foundation supports multiple initiatives at Lehigh in addition to assisting veterans, families in need, and providing youth development opportunities.
Jeff graduated from Lehigh in 1988 with a Bachelor of Science degree in finance. He began his career at Salomon Brothers and then spent nearly a decade at Bankers Trust, where he was responsible for the U.S. interest rate swaps business. In 1999, Bankers Trust was acquired by Deutsche Bank, where Jeff became co-head of U.S. fixed income derivatives and then head of U.S. agency trading. Jeff joined JPMorgan in June of 2005, where he held multiple senior leadership positions and was a member of the Corporate & Investment Bank management committee. Under his leadership, the public finance team developed into a #1 ranked client franchise, recognized in 2011 by IFR as the Municipal Bond House of the Year. Jeff is currently a senior managing director for Cerberus Capital’s Operations and Advisory Company.
The Boslands have both served as members of Lehigh’s Parents Council. They are members of the Tower Society, the South Mountain Society, and Founder’s Associates of the Asa Packer Society. Jeff is currently a member of the university Board of Trustees, appointed in 2018. Jeff is a member of the Wall Street Council, and served as a member of the College of Business Dean’s Advisory Council. He is also a member of the fraternity Alpha Tau Omega.
Debbie serves as a trustee for the Jeffrey and Debra Bosland Family Foundation. She is a graduate of Rutgers University. The Boslands have four children: Amanda, Andrew ’22, Abigail, and Alex. They reside in Basking Ridge, NJ.
