Jane Jamieson graduated from Lehigh with a degree in English in 1975, the university’s first undergraduate class that included women. She was a member of Phi Beta Kappa. She also received an M.S. degree from Boston University. Jamieson went on to a long career at Fidelity Investments, where she held a number of leadership positions in marketing and communications before retiring in 2009. She serves on the boards of the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Lincoln School in Providence, Rhode Island, and she is an overseer for the Museum of Fine Arts Boston. She has been on the Board of Trustees at Lehigh University since 2002 and currently serves as a member of the executive committee.
Fred Jamieson graduated from Lehigh with a degree in economics in 1974. He was president of Delta Tau Delta fraternity. He went on to receive an M.B.A. in finance from Cornell University. After working for PricewaterhouseCoopers and State Street Research & Management, he retired from David L. Babson & Company as a managing director. He serves on the boards of the Huntington Theater Company and the VNA Care Network, and he is an overseer for the Boys and Girls Club of Boston. He is a member of the Lehigh Leadership Council and a director-at-large for the LUAA Board of Directors, and has served as a class agent for the Class of 1974 since 2005.
The Jamiesons live in Waban, Massachusetts. They have two grown children, William and Peter.
