Frank Walsh began his professional career with Price Waterhouse and Company when he graduated from Lehigh with a degree in business administration in 1963. He and several associates founded Wesray Capital Corporation, a pioneering firm which specializes in corporate acquisitions and management buyouts, located in Morristown, New Jersey.
Walsh and his wife, Mary, known as Mimi, are the parents of two children, including Frank E. “Ted” Walsh III ’88. Their contributions to Lehigh include both resources and time. Walsh was a member of the Board of Trustees, and served on both the finance and executive committees. In addition he served as a visiting committee member and Business Advisory Committee member.
Frank and Mimi Walsh named the Walsh Galleria in the Rauch Business Center in honor of Walsh’s father. Their long-standing commitment to higher education and the students was demonstrated through their volunteer work with numerous organizations, and through their support of the Walsh Family Scholarship Fund at Lehigh.
